Backwater Reptiles, LLC (BackwaterReptiles.com) is a very impressive live reptile and amphibian company that is selling online exclusively. Their listing of available lizards, snakes, and amphibians seems to go on forever, making you feel, frankly, like a kid in a candy store.
The prices are the lowest we've seen anywhere online, and that's great, but what we really appreciate about them is their super prompt response to customers. We generally hear back from them within an hour of sending an e-mail, and that's really important to us.
As we mentioned, the pure number of animals they offer is just mind-boggling, and they have all shapes, colors, and sizes. The founder is a reptile enthusiast who oversees all breeding projects, of which there are many. Check out their reptiles for sale and decide for yourself.
We've ordered everything from frilled dragons to water monitors to pacman frogs, and we've never once had anything arrive dead. In fact our breeding group of Blue tongue skinks came from Backwater. Their packing skills are excellent and we never worry about the safety of our animals in transit.
